The 40V max XGT® Brushless Cordless 3-Speed 1/2" Driver-Drill (GFD03) is Makita's most powerful driver-drill and delivers up to 1,590 in.lbs. of Max Torque with a brushless motor and a three-speed transmission.

The Driver Drill features faster drilling speeds with 3 speed settings (0-650 / 0-1,800 / 0-2,600 RPM). It features a reinforced gear housing and an all-metal chuck for increased durability out on the job site.

The GFD03 features an electronic digital clutch that accurately targets the desired torque range during fastening (41 settings in low speed, 30 settings in medium, 21 settings in high). The 3-Speed Transmission provides optimal balance of speed and torque for maximum efficiency.

Convenience features include an LED job light that provides wider illumination from the base-mounted position. It features an ultra-smooth variable trigger that provides optimum speed control. The GFD03 also features a redesigned side handle that provides stability and grip under heavy torque applications to maintain control.
