As a part of the PERFORM & PROTECT™ lineup, this tool comes equipped with KICKBACK BRAKE™ and the E-CLUTCH® System. This tool is a part of the expanding 20V MAX* system, and is compatible with all 20V MAX* batteries and chargers.

• Variable speed functionality allows the user to adjust wheel speed for applications as needed.
• E-CLUTCH® actives in less than a tenth of a second when a pinch/stall is detected, shutting down the motor.
• Kickback Brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed. The electronic brake engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder, and shut the grinder off.
• Brake engages when trigger is released stopping the wheel quickly.
• Tool Connect™ Chip Ready: Chip pocket accepts Tool Connect™ Chip DCE042 and connects with Tool Connect™ Site Manager app for easy asset management on the jobsite. (DCE042 sold separately).
