The PEL 112 is a cost-effective, easy-to-use power and energy data logger that supports single-phase, split-phase, and three-phase (Y, Δ) systems. Ideal for electricians, engineers, and contractors, it is perfect for building and system monitoring, upgrades, and energy audits. It accurately measures, records, and analyzes vital energy data, generating standard and customizable reports with minimal setup.

Designed for convenience, the PEL 110 series can be installed inside a load center panel—sensors included—while allowing the panel door to close in most cases. These loggers provide all essential power/energy monitoring functions for 17 different electrical network setups worldwide.

The PEL 112 measures and records all power and energy data. It is designed for use anywhere electricity is present, including:

  • Power generation: Renewable energy, thermal power plants
  • Industrial applications: Metalworking, glass manufacturing, food production
  • Residential and commercial buildings
  • Infrastructure and transportation
  • Data centers

Applications

  • Energy audits
  • Electrical diagnostics
  • Industrial maintenance
  • Building and system monitoring

Compact and User-Friendly Design

  • Small, lightweight, and magnetic for easy placement
  • Three voltage inputs and three current inputs
  • Operates in cold environments down to -4°F (-20°C)
  • Self-powered via phase (optional)

Comprehensive Power Measurements

  • Supports AC/DC voltage up to 1000 V
  • Measures currents up to 10 kA AC and 5 kA DC (sensor-dependent)
  • Tracks active, reactive, and apparent power and energy
  • Analyzes fundamental, balanced, and unbalanced active power
  • Performs motor measurement and analysis via Android app
  • Logs True RMS voltage, current, watts, VARs, VA, and energy (kWh, kVA)
  • Calculates power factor (PF), displacement power factor (DPF), crest factor, and total harmonic distortion (THD)
  • Records harmonic content up to the 50th harmonic
  • Stores all data at one-second intervals, with user-selectable recording intervals from 1 to 60 minutes

Advanced Features

  • Identifies energy losses
  • Provides phase information: power factor (PF), cos φ, tan Φ
  • Measures crest factor and total harmonic distortion (THD) for voltage and current
  • Supports DC, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, and 400 Hz measurements (ideal for marine applications)
