10" Diameter x 2" Wide with Square Edge, 1" Sides and 12mm arbor hole, this CBN Sharpening Wheel features Cubic Boron Nitride abrasives, one of the hardest materials besides diamond! It will put razor sharp edges on hardened steel tools - woodturning and carving gouges, chisels, plane blades etc. CBN wheels cut quickly with minimum pressure, stay cool and never need dressing or shaping. CBN abrasives are electroplated onto precision machined, solid 6061 aluminum wheels for use on wet grinders/sharpeners and grinders operating below 2,000 RPMs. CBN wheels are not for use on soft carbon steel, aluminum or other soft metals. 1000 Grit produces extra superior final cutting edges for woodworking, and almost mirror smooth surfaces on other projects.
