Rikon Bed Extension 16" for 70-1824VSR and 70-1824VSR2 lathes

This 16” long cast iron lathe bed extension installs on the 70-1824VSR and 70-1824VSR2 lathes in 3 different locations to expand the use of the lathe when positioning the tool rest to work on spindle or bowl & platter turnings. Special size of the extension will only fit the 70-1824VSR and 70-1824VSR2 lathes.

• 1) Mounted on the end of the bed, it increases center-to-center length from 24” to 40” for spindle turning.
• 2) Mounted on the front of the bed, it gives extra positioning options for the tool rest base to access project surfaces.
• 3) Mounted on the left, outboard bed end, it increases swing from 18” to 22” for working bowls and platters.
• Includes hardware to attach to the beds of the 70-1824VSR and 70-1824VSR2 lathes.
• Finished with RIKON blue enamel paint.
