Oliver Machinery Heavy-Duty Shaper 4705.001 - 5HP, 1Ph

The Oliver 4705 Shaper uses an interchangeable quill assembly capable of handling 3/4” or 1-1/4” spindles. With a 4” spindle travel and cutter diameters up to 8” no job is out of the question. A newly designed dovetail system for the spindle height adjustment ensures both accuracy and longevity with minimal maintenance. With the skilled woodworker in mind, Oliver put a lot of thought into its fence design. With accurately scaled micro-adjusts for the right and left fences and integral feather board hold downs the operator is sure to be pleased.
Massive cast iron precision ground table provides a solid work surface. Table features pre-drilled and threaded holes for optional power feeder. Cast iron base provides a steady platform. 3/4” and 1-1/4” interchangeable spindles are included for added versatility. Three spindle speeds allow more choices to produce a better finish. Reversing spindle gives more options for each set-up. Innovative dovetail design accurately raises and lowers the spindle. Fence is independent and features micro adjustments for quick set-up. Top mounted control panel includes a digital readout for spindle height. Large hand wheel for quick spindle height adjustment. Miter gauge included. Magnetic controls with emergency off switch for safer operation. Powerful 5HP 1Ph TEFC motor.
