The 8-1/2” Slide Compound Miter Saw can perform miters including 0°- 47° left and 0°- 47° right, with positive stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, 45° and 47° (left and right). It can also perform cuts up to 12” at 90° and 8-1/2” at 45°. The LS0816F features a linear ball bearing system that is engineered to deliver "dead-on" accurate cuts. It also features dual rear handle bevel lock that is easily accessible and adjusts 0°- 47° (left) and 0°- 2° (right) with positive stops at 0° and 45° (left).
It features a large precision machined aluminum base that supports the material for more efficient cutting, an electric brake for maximum productivity and features a see-through blade guard system for greater visibility of the line of cut.
Convenience features include a soft start feature for smooth start-ups, a built-in L.E.D. light that illuminates the line of cut for increased accuracy, an exclusive 2-1/2" tall fence system for increased vertical cutting capacity, as well as an ergonomic rubberized D-handle design for better fit and added comfort.
