Milwaukee 100ft Extra Bold Large Capacity Chalk Reel

HIGH-OUTPUT LAYOUT EFFICIENCY WITH PLANETARY GEAR DURABILITY

Layout is the foundation of every successful build, and the Milwaukee 48-22-3910 is engineered to handle the high-volume demands of commercial jobsites. By integrating a planetary gear system—the same mechanical principle used in high-torque power tools—Milwaukee has solved the primary failure point of traditional chalk reels: stripped internal gears. This system distributes force across multiple contact points, ensuring the 4:1 retraction ratio remains smooth and reliable even after thousands of cycles. The 18 oz reservoir is a significant upgrade for crews who cannot afford frequent interruptions for refills, while the extra-bold line ensures that critical marks remain visible on rough concrete and weathered subfloors.

• / Planetary gear system distributes torque evenly to prevent internal stripping and extend the mechanical life of the reel.
• / 4:1 gear ratio delivers lightning-fast line retrieval, maximizing productivity during repetitive high-volume layout tasks.
• / 18 oz high-capacity reservoir minimizes downtime by allowing for significantly more strikes between refills.
• / Extra-large quick turn opening facilitates fast, mess-free refills even when wearing work gloves.
• / Extra bold line provides maximum visibility on abrasive surfaces where standard lines often fade or disappear.
